We’re aware that New Yorkers lead a busy life. Participating in Community Supported Agriculture, or a CSA share, may seem difficult because of your schedule or intimidating because of the pressure to keep up with cooking all the vegetables in your share. We take that pressure away and make joining a CSA, and supporting a small farm easy and convenient. Through Sweet Deliverance, you can experience the benefits of a CSA share without all the work, stress and time it takes to prepare the meals.
Sweet Deliverance uses fresh produce from Hearty Roots Farm and Paisley Farm every week, we will pick up your share, carefully prepare the food and deliver the meals to your home. Sweet Deliverance chef and creator, Kelly Geary, posts the week’s fruits and vegetable, and the menu she has created from that produce on sweetdeliverancenyc.com.
You simply select from a wide variety of main dishes, sides, baked goods and more, email in your picks, and the next thing you know your delicious dishes are waiting at the door.
There are several share sizes to choose from depending on the size of your household and whether you want to sign on for delightful extras like a meat dishes, fruit, or dairy and cheese from our friend Anne at Saxelby Cheesemongers. Full shares are delivered every week and half shares are delivered every other week.
In the spring there are 24-week (deliveries every week from June through November) and 12-week (deliveries every other week from June to November) delivery schedules and in the winter there are 16- and eight-week delivery schedules from January through April.
Where’s the beef? Sweet Deliverance now has a meat option. We’ve teamed up with many of New York’s fantastic farmers to bring you the tastiest local, grass-fed, organic meat around.
